Intensive 30-day clinical placement with multidisciplinary exposure across ICU, Oncology, Neurology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, and Surgery. Assisted in the workup and management of cases including protein-losing enteropathy, venomous snake envenomation, heat stroke, and gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV). UniVet Budapest — Field Curriculum

Mandatory field rotation providing veterinary care to small animals outside the university clinic setting — house calls, farm visits, and community cases. Developed independent clinical decision-making and client communication in uncontrolled field environments.

UniVet Budapest — Clinical Curriculum & Small Animal Hospital

Systematic diagnostic approaches, case workup, laboratory interpretation, and management of chronic and acute systemic disease through the required clinical rotation. Went beyond the rotation with extracurricular overnight and weekend clinical shifts in the Small Animal Hospital's Internal Medicine ward and ICU. Completed roughly 108 hours across three semesters: hospitalized-patient monitoring and treatment administration, IV catheter and infusion care, 24-hour ICU surveillance, oxygen therapy, and client communication within strict scope-of-practice limits. Counted as a supplementary grade component in the Internal Medicine final examination.

Small-Animal & Farm-Animal Practice

Volunteer clinical hours at a small animal clinic and a farm animal veterinary service in Israel, alongside coursework and rotations in Budapest.

Magen David Adom (MADA), Israel

Three years as a volunteer ambulance medic, responding to trauma, cardiac, and psychiatric emergencies. Performed CPR and life-saving intervention at road traffic accidents, managed suspected spinal injuries, and de-escalated acute psychological distress in the field. Built the ability to stay composed and decide quickly under real time-pressure — a foundation that carries directly into emergency veterinary work.
